Partick won away for the first time since December with a 5-0 thrashing of bottom club Queen of the South.

Kris Doolan started the scoring in the 17th minute, firing past goalkeeper Lee Robinson from the edge of the area.

Stephen O'Donnell doubled the lead three minutes before half-time as he rifled his shot into the roof of the net.

Doolan grabbed his second in the 64th minute. The striker collected David Rowson's pass in the penalty area and found the net for the 12th time this season.

Chris Erskine made it four in the 69th minute, finishing off O'Donnell's left-wing cross from 12 yards for his sixth strike of the campaign.

Substitute Christie Elliot completed the rout five minutes before the end as he finished clinically from inside the box.
