Manchester City 3 Sporting Lisbon 2 (agg 3-3): Mancini's men out despite comeback

Sporting Lisbon held off a dramatic Manchester City fightback to edge the English side out of the Europa League at the Etihad Stadium.
City appeared in disarray as they fell 3-0 behind on aggregate following goals from Mathias Fernandez and Ricky van Wolfswinkel in the first half of the second leg of the last 16 tie.
Yet City were as good in the second period as they were bad in the first, hitting back through two Sergio Aguero goals and a Mario Balotelli penalty to fall agonisingly short of the quarter-finals.
A matter of millimetres: Rui Patricio pulled off a stunning sve to deflect Joe Hart's 95th-minute header wide of the post
