Second Division leaders Cowdenbeath maintained their unbeaten home record as they played put a 0-0 draw with Stenhousemuir.
The home side enjoyed the better of the opening 45 minutes but created little, with the best chance of the half falling to full back Scott Linton, whose 25-yard free-kick curled wide of the post.
Stenny did managed to gain more of a foothold in the contest after the break but struggled to turn possession into chances.
Andy Rodgers sent a long-range effort over the crossbar and that proved to be the highlight in what was otherwise a half bereft of many attacking openings.
The result puts Cowdenbeath four points clear at the top of the league after closest challengers Arbroath were held at Stirling.
