Dumbarton scored two second-half goals as they came from behind to beat East Fife 2-1 at the Bayview Stadium.

Robert Linn came close to opening the scoring inside five minutes but could not keep his effort down.

The hosts took the lead after 23 minutes when Ryan Wallace played through Linn and he finished neatly inside the area.

Bryan Prunty almost equalised immediately but his effort was well saved by Michael Brown.

The Sons did hit back seven minutes after the restart as Mark Gilhaney netted with a fine strike from the edge of the box.

And the visitors edged ahead with 10 minutes remaining, Ally Graham rising highest to head home Scott Agnew's cross.

Despite a late surge from The Fifers, Dumbarton held firm to claim all three points.
