Fabio Borini scored twice as Roma secured an emphatic 4-0 Serie A triumph over Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.
Juan opened the scoring in the 13th minute and Borini doubled the hosts' lead before half-time.
Borini added a third shortly after the restart and substitute Bojan Krkic capped a great afternoon for Luis Enrique's side by notching their fourth a minute from time to ensure a miserable return to the capital for Inter's former Roma coach Claudio Ranieri.
The result marked Roma's first win in three games and lifted the Giallorossi to sixth place in the standings - two points behind fifth-placed Inter - and extended the Nerazzurri's winless run to three games.
The game was scheduled to have been played on Saturday afternoon but was postponed for 24 hours due to heavy snow.
The cold weather did affect the turnout but did not hinder the home side, who enjoyed a strong start.
Borini almost put Roma ahead in the fifth minute when he struck wide from 10 yards.
Daniele De Rossi then headed Francesco Totti's free-kick over the bar as Roma got closer.
The home side took the lead when Juan met Totti's corner and nodded past Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
Inter almost equalised two minutes later when Esteban Cambiasso fed Diego Milito inside the box, and his powerful strike was kept out by Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
Roma continued to dominate possession but Inter had a chance to equalise in the 37th minute. Giampaolo Pazzini got his head to Maicon's cross but his effort went just wide of the far post.
The hosts made no mistake in the 41st minute, though. Miralem Pjanic found Borini in the area and the former Chelsea player cut past Walter Samuel before striking a right-footed shot past Julio Cesar.
Three minutes after the restart, Roma extended their advantage. A long cross from Juan found Borini and he beat the offside trap before surging inside the area and firing past Julio Cesar.
Shell-shocked Inter did not look likely to mount a comeback.
With 10 minutes remaining, Borini received a standing ovation as he left the pitch and Roma coach Enrique handed Giammario Piscitella his Serie A debut.
The 18-year-old striker made an immediate impact as he set up Bojan, who got past three defenders before hitting a 15-yard effort across Julio Cesar to seal the rout.
