Roma vs Bologna preview - Enrique to keep Roma grounded

I have a say

Roma coach Luis Enrique has warned his side not to become over-confident ahead of Sunday's Serie A game at home to Bologna.

Luis Enrique's men produced a solid performance to beat Cesena 5-1 last weekend.

The result was the Giallorossi's fourth straight triumph in the league and lifted them to sixth place in the standings.

And the Romans, who have a game in hand, will have an added motivation to come out triumphant as a win would see them move level on points with Lazio if their city rivals lose at Chievo.

Roma, did, however, suffer a reverse in midweek, losing 3-0 at Juventus to crash out of the Coppa Italia.

"We cannot be down because I didn't see my team in any way inferior to Juventus," Luis Enrique said. "The result was not what we wanted but we must turn the page.

"We still have a lot of work to do to improve but we are on the right path.

"We just have to continue to work hard and not take any rival lightly."

Bologna travel to the Eternal City unbeaten in three games.

Last weekend's goalless draw against Parma allowed them to move five points clear of the drop zone and marked the second time in three games where the Rossoblu had kept a clean sheet.

"The only thing we were missing was the goal," Bologna coach Stefano Pioli said. "I'm happy with my team's recent performances.

"We are growing in confidence and this is a good sign.

"Now we must prepare as best as possible for Sunday's game, which will be a difficult one."

The visitors will have to overcome the absence of striker Gaston Ramirez, who must serve a one-match ban.

The hosts are still without midfielder Daniele De Rossi and striker Daniel Osvaldo through injury.
