Queen of the South manager Gus McPherson has a full squad at his disposal against Hamilton.

McPherson wants to make up for a disappointing result the last time his side played at their Palmerston Park home.

He said: "The last 15 minutes of the Falkirk game were really disappointing as we went from 1-1 to losing 5-1. We will be going out to make up for that to the fans."

"Hamilton will be coming here looking to double that gap they have on us whereas a win would pull us level with them so it should be a good game.

"It has been honours even so far this season but hopefully that extra determination to do well in front of our fans will see us prosper."

Hamilton are without goalkeeper Tomas Cerny, who is still suffering from a shoulder injury.

Therefore veteran Alan Combe is in line to play his second game as a trialist for the Accies.

The New Douglas Park squad has been boosted by having Ziggy Gordon and Stephen Hendrie available after flu, but striker Matt Paterson has returned to Southend after completing his loan spell.

Manager Billy Reid is hopeful Mark McLaughlin will shake off a hamstring injury while skipper Alex Neil is included again after suffering no reaction after playing last week - his first game in seven months.

Reid said: "We looked a bit more solid with Alex in the team but we need to be more creative."
