TRAGIC Weezer rocker Mikey Welsh forecast the exact time and place of his death on Twitter in September

The 40-year-old, former bassist with the popular US indie band, was found dead from a suspected drug overdose leading to a heart attack in his Chicago hotel room at the start of October.

In an uncanny message to Twitter followers on September 26, he revealed: "Dreamt I died in Chicago next weekend (heart attack in my sleep). Need to write my will."

A second Tweet added: "Correction — the weekend after next."

A statement from the band, whose hits include Buddy Holly, said at the time: "We will miss him terribly."
