These incidents prove we need two refs

SHAW-LY NOT ... Ryan Shawcross gets away with it after handling on the line
However, it was disallowed for a foul.
And in my team Tottenham's defeat at Stoke there were several incidents about which I've already had my say and it's generated bad feeling — which none of us want.
Referees are fit lads, they know their job and do it to the best of their ability. That is not even in question.
But there has been a long debate about goal-line technology, which I am broadly in favour of.
Referees are human and can make errors and bad calls, just as I can, and, do.
However, if we had two referees on one pitch, perhaps one in each half, surely it would cut the risk of getting a big decision wrong by 50 per cent.
The thing is that the game of football is so quick now.
