Manchester United are facing a fight to keep hold of rising star Paul Pogba - with AC Milan ready to pounce for the teenage star.
The 18-year-old midfielder's current deal expires next year and he is free to speak to others clubs in January.
The French youth International has rejected the offer a new deal at Old Trafford amid reports of excessive wage demands from the player and his representatives.
Pogba, alongside Ravel Morrison, is thought to be one of the brightest talents to come through the United ranks in a generation following his controversial move from Le Havre in 2009. The French side criticised the way United signed the teenager, who was one of the stars of the FA Youth cup winning side of last season.
Manchester City, Arsenal and Inter Milan are also monitoring the situation, but AC Milan are now at the head of the queue for his signature.
