Wayne Rooney loses Christmas FIFA battle

A losing game ... Pique celebrates his winning goal against Rooney

MANCHESTER United star Wayne Rooney must be sick of the sight of Barcelona rival Gerard Pique.

Six months on from Barca's Champions League success over the Old Trafford side, the Spanish defender beats Rooney in a festive football battle.

The pair, decked out in full kit, go head-to-head in the new Christmas-themed advert for the FIFA 12 computer game.

But it's Pique who is celebrating once again, pumping his fist in the air after scoring the winning goal.

He then gleefully teases the striker, saying: "Merry Christmas, Rooney."

The pair are joined by Arsenal's Jack Wilshere, Real Madrid star Kaka and Everton midfielder Tim Cahill in the funny promo.
