Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben: I need matches to get fit and recover my form

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has stated that he needs regular first team action in order to return to his best form in the upcoming weeks.
The Netherlands international returned to match action in Saturday's 1-0 Bundesliga loss against Borussia Dortmund after a lengthy injury layoff and lasted 72 minutes before he was replaced by David Alaba.
"It was good to be back out on the pitch," Robben was quoted as saying on the club's official website. "I need my rhythm, I need matches to get fit and recover my form. I need a little more time."
Robben went on to say that, despite not playing a full match, he was happy to get back to competitive action.
"It wasn't just a kick-around to get started again," he said. "It was a game of a very high standard, and it's very different compared to training. I'm happy that I managed 70 minutes. After such a long injury layoff, you'd normally start from the bench. But the coach asked me on Friday if I'd like to start. So I said 'Let's do it.'"
Bayern's next match is the Champions League Group A encounter with Villarreal on Tuesday evening.
