Chievo 1 : 0 Fiorentina - Narrow victory for Chievo

Chievo climbed away from the relegation zone with a narrow 1-0 win over Fiorentina, as the visitors' struggles away from Florence continued.
Luca Rigoni's 65th-minute strike earned Chievo the points that carry them up to 14th place, level on points with Fiorentina, who are yet to win away from home this season.
It was nothing more than Chievo deserved as they managed to keep the Viola on the back foot for most of the match.
Davide Moscardelli's opening effort from 30 yards was ambitious, but American midfielder Michael Bradley then brought a good save from Artur Boruc, low to his left, with a shot from the edge of the area.
Moscardelli then worked the goalkeeper again with a much better shot from just outside the area as half time approached.
Fiorentina had barely got forward, but Stevan Jovetic had a pair of chances just before the break, sending one long-range effort over before seeing a free-kick go narrowly wide.
Chievo were back on the attack early in the second half, with Moscardelli narrowly off-target in the 52nd minute after a free-kick, and then firing wide again after a corner kick moments later.
But the breakthrough came in the 65th minute with Davide Madelli setting up Rigoni for a close-range finish.
Jovetic tried to respond for Fiorentina but watched his shot drift inches wide in the 74th minute.
And it was Chievo who then went closest to scoring again with Marco Andreolli's shooting just wide in injury time.
