Jose Mourinho has stated that he is happy with his current squad at Real Madrid, and that he does not need to sign any new players in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese coach has led the Santiago Bernabeu outfit to the top of La Liga and Champions League Group D this term in unrelenting fashion, winning its last nine games in a row.
With strength in depth in almost every position, the ex-Chelsea trainer has stated that there will be no new faces in the new year.
"I do not want any players during the winter transfer window," the 48-year-old told Sport. "Neither side or attacking or defensive. We know our team and we have alternatives also."
The capital-city side takes on Osasuna at home on Sunday, and Mourinho has revealed that summer signing Nuri Sahin is fit and ready to play.
"The most important thing is that Sahin can play. If it is alongside Xabi Alonso or not we will see.
"He is a player whose qualities allow us to protect Xabi, something we have not been able to do during his injury," Mourinho continued.
One man that will be on the treatment table and miss the weekend's clash is Kaka, who has picked up a muscle injury.
"Kaka can not play and will not go with Brazil, he does not have time to recover. It is an injury that has nothing to do with his serious problems of the past," Mourinho concluded.
Madrid is currently a point ahead of rivals Barcelona in the league standings, and the Bernabeu crowd have been buoyed by the side's early-season performances.
