It is not the first time Cole has been caught up in a sex controversy.
In 2003 he was arrested and quizzed over the "roasting" of a 17-year-old girl.
She alleged she was raped and sexually assaulted by three men, but the case was dropped due to a lack of evidence.
COLE was charged with improper conduct by the FA yesterday for joking on Twitter that Ghana fans are illegal immigrants after the friendly with England last month.
