Genoa 1 : 3 Chievo - Nene flow hurts Chievo

A dominant first-half display saw Cagliari cruise to victory at the Stadio San Elia.
Daniele Conti and Michele Canini set them on their way before Nene's brace completed the rout. Cyril Thereau grabbed a late consolation for Chievo, who saw Sergio Pellissier and Davide Moscardelli squander a host of chances.
Nico Pulzetti shot narrowly over for the visitors in the early stages before Conti gave Cagliari the lead. Francesco Pisano crossed from the right and Conti headed home from close range at the far post.
Pellissier had an immediate chance to level but his shot was weak and did not extend keeper Michael Agazzi.
And the Islanders extended their lead in the 29th minute when a scramble in the six-yard box ended with defender Canini firing home.
Moscardelli shot over from the edge of the box and Pellissier's close-range header was also too high as the Flying Donkeys failed to achieve lift-off.
And they were 3-0 down a minute before half-time after Nene was picked out by Andrea Cossu to tap in from close range.
Chievo had chances in the second half, but Agazzi saved another tame effort from Moscardelli and easily gathered Pellissier's shot from 20 yards.
The home keeper was given a sterner test when Moscardelli struck fiercely from close range, Agazzi turning the effort aside.
And he was rewarded when Nene extended his side's lead still further, volleying inside the near post in the 71st minute.
Substitute Thereau ensured Chievo finally got on the scoresheet, driving home low from the edge of the box, but it was scant consolation.
