Barbora Strycova of the Czech Republic defeated Canada's Genie Bouchard in their first round match at the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, Ohio on Tuesday night.
The world number 20 was always in control, constantly wining the battles of rallies... including this one to bring up a set point in the first.
After taking the first set 6-4, Strycova ran away with the second, beating the Canadian 6 love.
Strycova advances to the second round where she'll play former US Open champion and No.14 seed Samantha Stosur.
