Reilly Opelka cruised through his quarter-final match in the ATP Atlanta open on Friday (5th August), beating fellow American Donald Young 6-4, 6-4.
Americans Reilly Opelka and Donald Young met in the quarter-finals of the ATP Atlanta Open on Friday.
Opelka, the 2015 Wimbldon Junior champion, managed to continue his dream run by thrashing Young in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 and reach his first ever ATP semi-final.
The first set was wrapped up when Young hit a return long.
Opelka managed to seal his victory in 1 hour and 13 minutes, the second set ending in the same way as the first.
He will now face the winner of the match between John Isner and Taylor Fritz with a place in the final on the line.
