Djokovic speaks about Andy Murray and Brazil.
SOUNDBITE (English) Novak Djokovic, tennis world number one and Olympic men's singles competitor:(On Andy Murray being Great Britain's flag-bearer for the 2016 Olympic Games)
"Absolutely deserved, it's all I can say. He's (British tennis player Andy Murray) globally recognised, not tennis player, but an athlete. He has done so much for Great Britain, he has won couple of medals, gold and silver in London, he's won Davis Cup, I know, I know him for a very long time and I know how much he cares playing for his country. So being a flag carrier for the opening ceremony is something that is absolutely deserved for him."
SOUNDBITE (English) Novak Djokovic, tennis world number one and Olympic men's singles competitor:(On his experience so far Brazil with this being his third Olympics)
"Well, Olympic Games are rare, it happens once in four years, and that's why this whole experience is so special and it's why this whole experience is so special and it's why I personally would like to cherish and nurture every moment of it, and try to grasp all these wonderful energy that goes around. You know the first feeling that I got even though this is my third Olympic Games, but first thing when I stepped into the village is that's what I felt. That incredible active energy that inspires and motivates you to give your best. So that's something that honestly, is the first and biggest impression, so far for me, I have tested the tennis courts, I've practiced already three times, the courts are in a great state, everything is ready, and we're finalising last couple of days, our training and preparation for what's important."
