SOUNDBITE: (English) Kelly Griffin, Team USA women's rugby sevens captain:
(On team's target at Rio 2016).
"Yeah, so really we're here to play the best rugby that we can possibly play, and we're aiming to get on that medal stand. Obviously, you know, you don't come... we're here at the Olympics to compete and to go for that gold - and at the end of the day, you know, when we're out on that field, you can't think about the gold, you just have think about whatever you have to do to execute, to play our best and then have faith that the rest will take care of itself."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Kelly Griffin, Team USA women's rugby sevens captain:
(On it being first Olympics for Rugby Sevens - and subsequent exposure for the sport).
"I'm hoping that having more people know about rugby that more people will have that sort of experience like me and be like 'oh, this game is awesome - I want to do this, I want to play it'... and I'm hoping it will just grow."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Richie Walker, Team USA women's rugby sevens coach:
(On expectation to get on the podium).
"With the stuff that they've done over the last few months, I think that we can make that. And like 'Griff' (Kelly Griffin) said, it's just that as long as we just play rugby... let everything aside... don't worry about the distractions. It's a massive arena for them but they know how to play rugby and I'm sure they'll be able to execute it really, really well."
