Second seed Gael Monfils swept aside Alexander Zverev on Saturday to reach the final of the Citi Open in Washington DC.
Gael Monfils cruised past seventh seed Alex Zverev to reach the final of the Citi Open in Washington DC on Saturday.
Monfils broke the German teenager in the opening game of the match and there were no further breaks of serve in the first set, the second seed taking it 6-4.
But it was one-way traffic after that as the Frenchman raced through it 6-0 in just 22 minutes.
The second seed will now face Croatian veteran Ivo Karlovic in Sunday's final.
