Player reaction after the second round of the BMW International Open in Pulheim, Germany on Friday (24th June).
SHOTLIST: Golf Club Gut Laerchenhof, Pulheim, Germany. 24th June
SOUNDBITE: (English) Henrik Stenson, joint leader at 11-under par:
"No, I've come here to really put myself in contention. So far, so good, I've done that. There's been a few tournaments in this late spring, early summer where I feel like I've maybe been coming, you know, showing up feeling like I'm working on my game, not been 100 per cent there to compete and now we don't have too many tournaments before the Open Championship, the PGA and the Olympics, so it's time to put that tournament focus back on and try to do a good job and I've done that for two days and I'm going to push myself to do it for another two
SOUNDBITE: (English) Raphael Jacquelin, joint leader at 11-under par:
"Yeah, it's always good to shoot a solid round in after a good 65, so that gives me some confidence for the weekend and puts me right up there, so that's what I've been looking for, but it's never easy, it's easy to say but not easy to do sometimes. I'm very happy with my ball striking again, and my short game. Yeah, that was solid all day long."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Kiradech Aphibarnrat, joint leader at 11-under par:
"It is, it's been solid now. I've been hitting drivers so good. You can't imagine how long and straight it is. I missed only two fairways and every single ball flies like 300 yards. So, this course is all about the first shot. You put yourself on the fairways, you have a lot of opportunities to make birdies and my putter was working better than yesterday, striking the ball great at the flag every single ball's been... it was a fantastic round."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Kiradech Aphibarnrat, joint leader at 11-under par:
"Honestly, I haven't been playing good golf the last few months and after I hit many good shots on the front nine, I got my confidence back and then... I believe myself that... one of the top players and, you know, my caddies keep saying you're not in a bad mood, you know. Just look forward, go for it and aim high."
