Australia head coach Michael Cheika on Friday (17th June) insisted that there was "no need to feel pressure" ahead of the second Test against England in Melbourne on Saturday (18th June), saying "of course we want to bounce back. It hurts losing, it hurts a lot".

"Oh mate I don't think there is any clearing up from our end. We saw where we went wrong, you know, so we know what we need to fix. I'm not looking for, we aren't looking for anything like that. We've got to clear our own things up first, before we start worrying about that. You don't want to be in a situation not even to give penalties away and not even leave those things to interpretation. So once we do that, it won't be an issue for us."

"No, not really. I think I have said it many times before, there is no need to feel pressure in this game, you know what I mean, because there are real serious things going on out there and obviously we want to win, we're not naive of that, you know what I mean. More importantly is that we want to play at our best, like we always want to do. We want to make Australia proud by the way we play the game all round, not just the good bits, you know what I mean. We've got the physically part, the accuracy of our play, our kicking, all that stuff, you know what I mean, then we're fully committed to the game and everyone wants to...everyone enjoys us playing in that way and that's what we want to do. So we've got a great chance down here in front of our home crowd in Melbourne, a great opportunity for us."

"Of course we want to bounce back. It hurts losing, it hurts a lot, there is no brushing that away and that pain still sits inside you of course and that's usually what drives you even after you have a win, to win again. That's why England want to win again, because they don't want to have the pain of losing either. So that's the bit that drives a lot of us. The feelings you get after the game in the dressing room, the great emotions of victory and then the pain and the hardship of losing, but you get over it and you get on to the next thing."
