Andy Murray, Jamie Murray, Johanna Konta and Heather Watson were named on Friday (10th June) in the tennis team to represent Great Britain at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Jamie Murray: (Q: How do you rate your chances in the doubles alongside your brother Andy?)
"Yeah, I mean I think we have a chance to do well in the tournament of course. I think we're both playing some of the best tennis of our careers. I'm excited to get playing, it's a unique event for us, it's once every four years. There is that extra pressure that you want to do well because if you stuff it up you've got to wait another four years. London for me was a real anti-climax, really didn't perform well at all and I'll try to make amends for that in Rio."
(Q: How much will the success in the Davis Cup help you at the Olympics?)
"For us, it's a kind of a confidence booster to know that we can get the job done in those sort of circumstances. I think we both know that how to get the best out of each other and I think we'll go well when we get to Rio and we'll be doing our best to perform as best we can as we have done in Davis Cup."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Johanna Konta: (Q: What would an Olympic gold mean to you, does it rank alongside a Grand Slam title?)
"Everyone, the majority of the population, not just in the UK but in the world, very much understands what a gold medal is. It does kind of transcend any individual sport and it really represents sport in general. It is like a Grand Slam, one that we get every four years. I think everyone's going to be going in with being prepared the best they can and really prepared to compete to the best of their ability and whether that results in a gold medal, a silver or a bronze, or just in the best performance that they can give. it is definitely the most that anyone can do."
