Dan Carter faced the press on Friday (13th May) as Racing 92 prepare to face Saracens in the European Champions Cup final in Lyon on Saturday (14th May).
All-Blacks legend Dan Carter is aiming to add to his already bulging medal cabinet on Saturday, when his Racing 92 side face Saracens in the European Champions Cup final.
Carter has won two World Cups with New Zealand, but has never lifted the Champions Cup.
And despite a glittering career Carter is still hungry to add the competition to his list of honours.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Dan Carter, fly half :(Q: You played so many finals in you amazing career how is it to be in Champions Cup final..? )
"It's right up there. It's obviously the pinnacle of European (club) rugby and is a big part of the reason why I wanted to come here (to France) to play. To reach this stage is a hugely proud moment for me, and more importantly, this team. We haven't won anything yet and we're up against a very good Saracens side so we've done well to get here but the hard work starts now."
Saturday's final is the first rugby match to take place at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais since its completion in January this year.
The stadium’s 59000 capacity means that the crowd will be the biggest Racing have ever played in front of in their history.
They will be hoping to mark the occasion with Champions Cup glory.
