Harlequins sealed their place in the European Rugby Challenge Cup on Friday (22nd April) by beating visitors Grenoble 30-6.
Harlequins welcomed Grenoble to The Stoop for the European Rugby Challenge Cup on Friday for the first of the semi-finals.
Conor O'Shea's side dominated the early exchanges and notched the first points of the game - Jamie Roberts touching down to add to their earlier penalty.
Further penalties were traded, but Harlequins headed into the half-time break with a seven point lead at 13-6.
The next score would be crucial and it went to the home side, with replacement fly-half Nick Evans marking his return to the team after two months out recovering from a broken leg with a try.
The New Zealander placed a grubber kick in behind the Grenoble defence in the 54th minute and barged his way through to ground the ball.
A third Harlequins try followed two minutes later, with Grenoble undone by another grubber.
Danny Care taking possession from a driving maul and kicked through from the 22-metre line, with centre George Lowe reacting fastest and touching down after the ball came off a post.
Although referee John Lacey went upstairs for TMO confirrmation, the try was awarded, the conversion kicked, and the match won.
The 30-6 win seals Quins' place in May's final at the Grand Stade de Lyon in France, where they will face the winner of the second semi-final between Montpellier and the Newport Gwent Dragons.
