France continued preparations for their second game of the Six Nations Championship, against Ireland in Paris
SOUNDBITE: (French) Eddy Ben Arous, France prop:
"We want revenge as it's four (five) years since the France team won (against Ireland). We remember the last result during the group match against our opponents (in the 2015 Rugby World Cup) and that is why we want a particular revenge."
SOUNDBITE: (French) Eddy Ben Arous, France prop:
"This team (Ireland) has not changed so much and they are playing together for a long time. They have collective benchmarks we do not have. It is a solid team and that's what we want to be in four years."
SOUNDBITE: (French) Eddy Ben Arous, France prop (asked what is France's objective for the campaign):
"We have the same objective as the others teams, we want to finish in first place and avoid defeat and we want to do the grand slam, but we know what we need to do that. We need to fight. I said fight because it is a major basis to beat opposing teams."
SOUNDBITE: (French) Paul Jedrasiak, France lock:
"It could be a more complicated game to play because Ireland will increase the number of phases (compared to Italy). We know this team very well and we saw the good performance they achieved in the last game they played. It will be up to us to have a good preparation and to play a strong match."
