Post-match reaction after the Carolina Panthers beat the Seattle Seahawks 31-24 in the NFL's NFC Divisional Playoffs on Sunday (17 January) at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Panthers will host the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game on Sunday (24 January).
SOUNDBITE (English) Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers tight end:
(On second half)
"That was exciting (the first half). Then the second half, it got a little stressful there obviously. Yeah, you could never count out a guy like Russell Wilson. He's a special player. This league has seen that for a long time. He, we knew there was going to be no quit on their side, on either side of the ball. And then T.D. (Thomas Davis) obviously recovering that onside (kick) kind of put the nail in the coffin there."
SOUNDBITE (English) Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers tight end:
(On team's fast start)
"We pride ourselves on being fast starters. We pride ourselves on coming out of the gates fast and trying to sustain that. So, no, we felt good about our plan coming in. We felt good about some things that we could do."
SOUNDBITE (English) Josh Norman, Carolina Panthers cornerback:
(On end of game)
"We still was in control of the game. There was no concern. I mean they had to score ten points in like one minute and 30 seconds. So I knew they had to get to the end zone but I didn't expect them to come kick a field goal. And that, kind of, you know kick a field goal and Thomas (Davis) ended up catching it (the onside kick) on the bounce and a hop. So that sealed the game for us. And like I said, we was going to be ready to go back out there and do something, make a play."
