Saracens sealed a home quarter-final in the European Rugby Champions Cup after picking up a 33-17 bonus point win over visitors Ulster on Saturday (16 January).
The top two teams in Pool One clashed on Saturday (16th January) when Saracens hosted Ulster met at Allianz Park.
Saracens Fly-half Owen Farrell opened the scoring from a third minute penalty, but it was Ulster that claimed the first try just two minutes later.
The away side spotted a gap left edge of Saracens' defence which Jared Payne exploited with an inviting grubber kick for Luke Marshall to score from.
However, Saracens took the lead before half-time. A powerful rolling maul allowed Billy Vunipola to touch down, with Farrell converting to send the home side 13-7 ahead going into the break.
The two sides traded penalty kicks in the opening ten minutes of the second half before Saracens opened a commanding 11-point lead with their second try in the 53rd minute.
Farrell was the architecht breaking through the Ulster defence before providing the perfect pass for Duncan Taylor who did the rest.
Maro Itoje bundeled home a third try for Saries beore replacement hooker Schalk Brits broke away to secure the home sides fourth.
Ulster did grab some consolation when Ian Humphreys ran untouched from his own 22-metre line to score in the 71st minute.
However, there was to be no comeback as Saracens completed a 33-17 that sees them qualify for the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup. The game also marked their fourth bonus point win meaning that they are guarunteed an home tie in the last eight.
