Reaction after the Seattle Seahawks beat the Minnesota Vikings 10-9 in the NFL wild-card round at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota

"What an incredible football game this was for everybody that was involved with it. The elements made it as challenging as a game can be. Perhaps you can look at this game and try to evaluate a lot of stuff and you could say you could do this and that and all. But this was really a survival game for both teams. And it was an amazing defensive effort on both sides of the ball. It was one of those all-day jobs for both sides. They did a fantastic job and they did a nice job getting their first downs and doing things that made it hard on us enough where they got their points. And then we just had our little burst in the fourth quarter that made a difference."

"Yeah, I don't know how cold it was at the end of the day but it felt like it was in the negatives. I don't think we got a degree. The sun was out but it wasn't helping at all. But it just was another opportunity for our team to show who they were. Guys continued to battle, continued to fight until the last second even when it looked dire. It looked dire. They ran the clock down, took a field goal, a short chip shot, you know, but the football gods I think were with us today."
