The USA took on Thailand in Pool H of the World Grand Prix, looking to maintain their unbeaten record.

Thailand, meanwhile, were looking to make amends for their previous match, when they narrowly missed out to China.

It was a close opening set.Thailand led 21-17 at one piont, but the USA came roaring back with eight unanswered points to win it 25-21.

They took that momentum into the second set and were never really challenged as they won it 25-18.

Thailand mounted a response in the third though, as they got the better of the Americans in an epic rally.

At set point, this USA serve went long and Thailand edged it 25-23.

But the fourth set was an althogether different story, as the USA seemed determined to redeem themselves.

They were rarely troubled and wrapped up the final set 25-16 to seal a 3-1 win.
