SOUNDBITE: (English) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, ANOC President:(on the jailing of British-Iranian woman Ghoncheh Ghavami for trying to attend a men's volleyball match in Tehran)

"We have to see it on both sides. If she's using this.... investing her nationality for a political situation, we will reject (it) because we don't want anybody to use sport for politics. We just had a success in OCA (Olympic Council of Asia). Everybody remembers the Asia Games. DPR Korea was there at the closing ceremony, the big delegation of officials of DPR-Korea with South Korea. The hockey team between India and Pakistan. With sport we want peace and solidarity. But somebody will use by wrong messages, we can resist. You have to know that there are different culture around the world. Not only one culture."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, ANOC President:(on speaking to the Iranian Olympic Committee regarding the jailing of Iranian-British woman Ghoncheh Ghavami for trying to attend a men's volleyball match in Tehran)

"I already, as OCA (Olympic Council of Asia), speak to them. They promised to send a report. But also, you have to sit on the other side of the water of the glass. Not only did she have a British passport, but also she knows if she is Iranian she doesn't have to use this benefit for her politics in sport."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Patrick Hickey, ANOC Senior Vice-President:(confirming Kosovo will compete at the 2015 European Games in Baku if the IOC confirm them at their upcoming session in Monaco)

"As you probably know, we will have an additional member by the time the Games open next year and that is Kosovo if the IOC give them full recognition in the Monaco session in December. Well then, they will automatically be brought in the European Olympic family and then that would be their first participation of a multi-sport games."
