Brazilian third seeds Maria Antonelli and Talita Da Rocha Antunes won the 2012 FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour Sanya Open after they beat defending champions Juliana Felisberta Silva and Larissa Franca 2-1 in an all-Brazilian final on Sunday.

China's Chen Xue and Xi Zhang won the bronze medal at the 2012 FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour Sanya Open in front of their own fans on Sunday.

They beat Austrian 20th seeds Sara Montagnolli and Barbara Hansel 21-16, 21-17 in the third place match that lasted 45 minutes.

Over to the final which was an all-Brazilian affair.

Defending champions Juliana Felisberta Silva and Larissa Franca up against third seeds Maria Antonelli and Talita Da Rocha Antunes, who took the opening set 21-17.

But Silva and Franca showed their pedigree when they clinched the second set 21-17, to send it to a third set.

Antunes and Antonelli trailed 6-1 in the decider, but they battled back to win it 15-13.

An eighth FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour title for Antunes and Antonelli.
