Intro:
In July Horse Guards Parade will become the place of reckoning for Germany's beach volleyball medal hopefuls.
The men's and women's teams are already busy training.
The sold-out event begins on 28th July and continues until the men's gold medal match on 9th August.
Script:
London's Olympic Stadium ready for this summer's Games.
But the beach volleyball teams will be heading to a very different arena - Horse Guards Parade in central London.
Top German duo - Jonas Reckermann and Julius Brink - were there to have a look on Tuesday, before it's covered in sand.
SOUNDBITE (German) Julius Brink:
"We're used to it that we're competing not only on the beaches but also at top locations like this. They did a good job here."
SOUNDBITE (German) Jonas Reckermann:
"At the moment you need a bit of imagination, but I'm sure it'll look good."
The current top seeds on the world tour had a disappointing Olympics in Beijing, with elimination in the preliminary round.
But the pair have been training in Fuerteventura alongside Germany's top women.
Sarah Goller and Laura Ludwig were third in last year's European Championships and reached the round of 16 at the Beijing Olympics.
Their trainer has high hopes of Olympic success.
SOUNDBITE (English) Craig Seuseu, women's team trainer:
"We've also shown over the last 18 months that we can beat any of the other top four or five teams and we have beaten them all in the last 18 months. It's pretty exciting. We're confident that we can go there and put on a very good performance worthy of a medal."
Germany's beach volleyball medal hopefuls will be on court in the Horse Guards Parade in July.
