  • On June 25, Hull City signed Jake Livermore from Tottenham for a reported £8million following a successful loan spell last season
  • On June 20, new West Brom manager Alan Irvine made his first signing, snapping up Joleon Lescott following his release by Manchester City
  • Sunderland made their third signing of the summer on June 16, signing released Manchester City goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon on a four-year contract
  • A few days earlier, on June 13, City used the free-transfer market themselves, snapping up right-back Bacary Sagna from Arsenal
  • Also on June 13, it was confirmed that David Luiz was heading to Paris Saint-Germain from Chelsea for a fee reported to be at least £40million
  • Chelsea made a big statement of intent on June 12, spending a rumoured £30million to sign former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona
  • Stoke completed their third and fourth signings on June 11, signing Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf and Banska Bystrica defender Dionatan Teixeira
  • On June 10, Aston Villa announced the free-transfer signing of West Ham midfielder Joe Cole on a two-year contract
  • On June 9, Jack Colback confirmed he had made the controversial decision to join Newcastle from their north-east rivals Sunderland
  • Also on June 9, Stoke City announced the capture of Steve Sidwell on a free transfer from relegated Fulham
  • On June 5, Aston Villa confirmed the signing of former Arsenal and Fulham defender Philippe Senderos on a free transfer from Valencia
  • On June 2, Rickie Lambert completed his dream move from Southampton to Liverpool for a fee of around £4million plus add-ons.
  • On May 29, Swansea announced Lukasz Fabianski had agreed to join the club at the end of his Arsenal contract in the summer

  • On May 28, West Brom defender Billy Jones signed a four-year contract at Sunderland after rejecting a new deal at the Hawthorns.
