Arsenal director Kroenke confirms plans to strengthen squad this summer

Arsenal director Josh Kroenke has confirmed the club have plans to strengthen their squad during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners find themselves fourth on the Premier League table, two points clear of Spurs, who they play next Thursday.
Speaking at a recent Arsenal fans' forum, Kroenke confirmed the club will provide Mikel Arteta with money to spend on transfers.
"We've got plans in place to continue to strengthen the squad," Kroenke said, via football.london.
"Now having match day revenue and having fans back in the stadium has been great.
"We continue to provide whatever support we can for Mikel and continue to push the squad forward to achieve our goals."
On Arsenal's campaign so far, Kroenke praised supporters for sticking by Mikel Arteta after a shaky start.
"It's been a rollercoaster of a season," he added. "I say that with a smile on my face.
"To think back to where we were after three matches, Mikel and the team have done an amazing job stabilizing the ship. I wanna thank you guys for sticking with us through all the ups and downs."
