Memphis Depay is decisive
Ronald Koeman's situation on the Barcelona bench would be far worse without Dutch forward

After signing for Barcelona on a free transfer transfer in the summer, circumstances have quickly propelled Memphis Depay into the spotlight as the lead-man at the Camp Nou, and he has answered such a call by being incredibly decisive thus far.
He has scored three goals this season and has taken as many shots on goal as Karim Benzema in LaLiga Santander, with the pair sitting joint-top of that list.
Memphis wasn't signed to be the star name of Los Cules' attack, he perhaps wasn't even signed to outshine Sergio Aguero, yet he has stepped up to the plate at a time of need for the Catalan giants.
Ronald Koeman's position as coach is a difficult one and few expect him to see out the current campaign in charge, although results would have been far worse without Memphis' contributions.
He has offered a grand total of 17 shots in 539 minutes of domestic football this season, and he has been able to lead the line whilst also contributing one assist.
