The French shot-stopper, 27, has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.

And a deal with Paris Saint-Germain could be close after Areola’s wife posted a picture to social media showing the family posing outside their new London home.

Marrion Areola wrote: “A few years ago our dream was to have our home in London.

"Our dream came true. Happiness blessed.”

The Areolas bought the house around nine months ago, but only moved in this week after refurbishing and furnishing it.

Chelsea are desperate to offload club-record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer.

And 2018 World Cup winner Areola could be the man for the job at Stamford Bridge.

He has spent the season on loan at new LaLiga champions Real Madrid but it is understood they are not interested in signing him permanently after just eight appearances in all competitions.

PSG are also ready to move him on after landing Keylor Navas last year.

Areola’s agent Mino Raiola is targeting a move to the English capital.

And it’s reckoned a bid of over £20million could seal Areola’s switch to Chelsea, although a loan offer could also be viable.

However, such is his desire to live in London, the goalie would even be prepared to initially play back-up to Kepa should the Spaniard stay put.

But Areola is keen to feature in France’s Euro 2021 squad and would like the chance to stake his claim for a first-team spot.

The Blues have been linked with a number of shot-stoppers this month, with Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak the most notable.

There is also interest in Dean Henderson but Manchester United are unlikely to sell to a rival.
