Barcelona face competition from Real Madrid in the race for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international has 12 months remaining on his contract and talks over an extension have been lukewarm.
Barcelona are reportedly eager to bring Aubameyang to Spain but have been put off by the Gunners' asking price of 60m.
According to France Football, that has opened the door for Real Madrid to contact the North London club.
Los Blancos would be willing to pay around £40m for the former Borussia Dortmund man.
Luka Jovic could also be used as a makeweight in the deal, with Real keen to offload the Serbian striker.
