Manchester United transfer target Jadon Sancho is open to moving to Old Trafford because of three players.

Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho as they have players in their ranks who excite the winger.

According to the Evening Standard, Sancho is keen to move to Old Trafford because of three players.

The 19-year-old has already struck up a friendship with Marcus Rashford during their time together on international duty.

Therefore he is one of the stars which Sancho would be looking forward to playing alongside at Old Trafford.

It is also claimed the former Manchester City ace rates Anthony Martial, who has been United's main striker this season.

The Frenchman has been backed up well by 18-year-old Mason Greenwood, the third player which excites Sancho.

However, Dortmund will not let their star man leave on the cheap as they have placed a £100million price tag on his head.

Earlier this month the Bundesliga side's chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke attempted to play down the chances of his player leaving.

"I think he has the feeling that the club does have a good future," Watzke told BBC Sport.

"In my opinion, I don't think he wants to leave.

"We have a very confidential relationship between us and him and his agents, we will discuss it.

"It's not a question of money. For us, it would be the best position if he stays at Borussia Dortmund.

"We have enough money. We want to have titles. I think this team has a lot more potential with Jadon than without Jadon."

However, United have another issue in attempting to finalise terms for Sancho as it is unknown when the transfer window will open.

The worldwide coronavirus pandemic has forced the suspension of all of Europe's top domestic leagues.

And it is unclear when the campaign will resume and what effect it will have on the transfer market.
