Carlisle without Webster for Colchester clash

Carlisle are without suspended defender Byron Webster for their clash with Colchester at Brunton Park.

Webster starts a two-match ban after picking up his 10th booking of the season in last week’s win at Cambridge.

Max Hunt could step in to make his third appearance for the club in Webster’s absence, but Nathaniel Knight-Percival could also figure.

Joshua Kayode is pushing for a recall after returning from a hamstring injury, while Nathan Thomas (ankle) also faces a late test.

Colchester’s new signing Miles Welch-Hayes could be in line to feature in John McGreal’s line-up.

Welch-Hayes has been concentrating on regaining match-fitness following his move from Macclesfield.

Midfielder Tom Lapslie is also pushing to feature after shrugging off a recent knee injury.

The U’s boast a clean bill of health for the fixture with the exception of Paris Cowan-Hall who is still sidelined with an Achilles complaint.
