Tom Lowery an option for Crewe

Tom Lowery will push for inclusion in Crewe’s starting XI as the Sky Bet League Two promotion hopefuls host bottom side Stevenage on Saturday.
A groin injury ruled the midfielder out of five matches but he was an unused substitute in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at title rivals Exeter.
Centre-back Olly Lancashire could feature in some capacity after recovering from an Achilles injury but defender Eddie Nolan may need more time to deal with a trapped nerve in his back.
Second-placed Crewe’s boss David Artell has options in midfield after dropping Oliver Finney to the bench and leaving Owen Dale out of the matchday squad in Devon.
Scott Cuthbert could make the most of Stevenage’s enforced break from action and return to the team at Gresty Road.
The defender was forced off with an injury midway through last month’s defeat at Bradford and sat out losses against Salford and Crawley before the visit of Walsall was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Danny Newton is unlikely to be risked as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury and fellow forward Jake Cassidy is one booking away from accumulating 10 yellow cards and triggering an automatic suspension.
Alex Revell is looking for a first win – and first goal – of his career as Boro boss, with the 2-0 reverse at Crawley a seventh defeat on the spin for a club who are eight points from safety.
