Pep suggests he could extend Man City stay
Pep Guardiola says all he is looking for is happiness – and that could mean he stays at Manchester City beyond the end of his current contract.
Guardiola’s deal expires at the end of the 2020-21 season, by which point he will have been in the Premier League for five years.
Given he spent four seasons in charge of Barcelona and just three at Bayern Munich, plenty are expecting Guardiola to leave at that point – but he isn’t sure.
Rami completes Sochi move
Adil Rami, member of France's 2018 World Cup-winning squad, has joined FC Sochi on a free transfer, according to reports in Russia.
The 34-year-old had been at Fenerbahce but left after making just one league appearance for the Turkish giants.
Sochi are currently bottom of the 16-team Russian Premier League.
Valencia want Sanchez on emergency deal
Valencia have made contact with Real Madrid over an emergency loan for defender Javi Sanchez, report AS.
Defender Ezequiel Garay has undergone surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury, meaning Valencia could be allowed to register him on an emergency deal by La Liga, as they allowed Barcelona to sign Martin Braithwaite.
Sanchez, 22, is currently on loan at Real Valladolid but has hardly featured for the first team.
Man Utd interested in Jota
Manchester United are weighing up a summer transfer bid for Diogo Jota, according to CalcioMercato.
The Portuguese winger has been in fine form for Wolves this season and United have been paying close attention to his development, especially given the side's thin cover in attack which has been aggravated by injuries.
Perisic not interested in return to Italy
On-loan Bayern Munich star Ivan Perisic will seek to stay in Germany once his temporary deal is up, according to Sport 1.
The Croatia international is not interested in returning to Inter, despite being under contract at San Siro until June 2022.
Barca board move to dismiss Bartomeu
Extraordinary General Meeting planned for end of month
Disgruntled members of the Barcelona board have begun manoeuvres to remove president Josep Bartomeu from his post, claims CCMA.
Bartomeu has come under fire in recent weeks for matters both on and off the pitch, with the club's crisis coming to a head with recent accusations over their manipulation of social media against Barca players past and present.
And two vice-presidents are said to be seeking support in order to file a formal motion of dismissal against Bartomeu, with an Extraordinary General Meeting expected to take place on February 27.
Lewandowski: I really considered Man Utd move
Robert Lewandowski says he nearly joined Manchester United earlier in his career.
The Poland international was keen on a move when he received a call from Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012, while he was at Borussia Dortmund.
Barcelona & Man City face €90m Skriniar asking price
English side saw €65m offer rejected
Barcelona and Manchester City will have to pay dearly if they want to sign Milan Skriniar, claims CalcioMercato.
The Inter defender was subject of a €65 million (£55m/$59m) plus bonuses offer that was turned down by the club.
In order to pry him away from San Siro, only a bid upwards of €90m (£75m/$97m) would tempt the Nerazzurri into a sale.
