Nottingham Forest are expected to include new signing Adama Diakhaby in their squad for the home game against Reading.
The 23-year-old French winger has joined Forest from Sky Bet Championship rivals Huddersfield on loan until the end of the season.
But Forest will be without defender Jack Robinson, who has completed a permanent move to Premier League side Sheffield United.
Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi has reported no new injuries as his side bid to climb to within two points of second-placed Leeds.
Reading are likely to select from an unchanged squad as they have no new injury problems following their weekend defeat at Millwall.
Andy Yiadom remains out due to a knee injury which has sidelined him since early December.
Forward Lucas Joao is another long-term absentee after sustaining a hamstring injury at the turn of the year.
The Royals are 16th in the table after losing for the first time in eight league games on Saturday.
