Paris Saint-Germain aren’t giving up hope that they can persuade Pep Guardiola to leave Manchester City.

The French giants have got Guardiola at the top of their wanted list if they part company with current boss Thomas Tuchel. The Spaniard who only has another year left to run on his contract said last week that he would be ‘100 per cent in charge at Manchester City next season.’

But PSG’s owners Qatar Sports Investments are still ready to make him a huge offer to leave the Premier League champions.

Guardiola is enduring his most challenging season to date at the Etihad Stadium and is set to surrender the Premier League title to closest rivals Liverpool.

And despite his family returning to Barcelona last summer where his wife has fashion business, he claims that he has no plans to leave.

QSI want someone to take PSG to the next level and believe that Guardiola is the man to do it so will make him any offer.

It will then be left up to Guardiola to decide what he wants to do, but City are likely to offer him a new deal themselves in a bid to tie him down.

When asked about his future before City’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, Guardiola said: "Unless they sack me, I am staying, 100 per cent.

"It's not because we have won the last two games.

"Even if it was going bad, I'm not going anywhere.

"No manager wins all the time. I enjoy working with these players. We've lost some games so it is simple, we need to work out what we can do better."

City were held to a draw by Palace on Saturday afternoon at the Etihad.

Sergio Aguero thought he’d handed City all three points with his brace, however, Palace scored late on.

Fernandinho’s own goal handed the south London side a well-earned point.

Speaking after the game, Guardiola said: "It was a tight game and unfortunately we could not win it.”

On his half-time team-talk with City 1-0 down, the Spaniard added: "I told them to keep going.

"Put more balls into the box and try to control Zaha on the counter-attack.

"It's difficult to analyse when they shoot one corner have no more chances and we did many times and unfortunately could not win. We take it one game at a time."
