Leaders Barrow ease to victory against Bromley

Barrow maintained their three-point lead at the top of the table as they claimed a third-straight National League win with a 2-0 victory over promotion rivals Bromley.
John Rooney had a great chance to open the scoring midway through the first half but his free-kick deflected off the Bromley wall before the ball was tipped over the crossbar.
Dior Angus – on his 26th birthday – broke the deadlock 10 minutes before half-time as he fired home a Rooney assist at the far post for his ninth league goal of the season.
Rooney doubled the hosts’ lead after 73 minutes as his corner was deflected in at the near post for his sixth goal in the last three games in all competitions.
That sealed maximum points and extended Barrow’s unbeaten league run to 12 matches.
