Morton came from behind to beat Dunfermline 3-2 and inflict a fifth successive Ladbrokes Championship defeat on the visitors.
Dunfermline started the stronger of the two sides and threatened an opener after 20 minutes as Kevin Nisbet’s strike was well saved by Danny Rogers.
But the Pars were ahead three minutes later through Euan Murray. Gabriel McGill’s effort from a free-kick was saved but Murray was on hand to convert the rebound from close range.
Morton responded well and Dunfermline goalkeeper Ryan Scully was forced into action to first keep out a fierce strike from Lewis Strapp and then save Jim McAlister’s header.
And they were level three minutes before the break as Robbie Muirhead nodded back across goal for Kyle Jacobs to bury a header into the bottom corner.
McAlister gave the hosts the lead in the 49th minute with another header as he guided Luca Colville’s cross into the net.
Morton wrapped up the win six minutes from time with their third header as Jacobs grabbed his second by nodding in Nicky Cadden’s cross from 12 yards.
But there was time for Dunfermline to grab a late consolation as Nisbet converted a free-kick in the final minute of added time.
