Steven Fletcher likely to miss out again for Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday could be without Steven Fletcher again when they host Hull on New Year’s Day.
The Owls’ prolific goalscorer has resumed light training after suffering from a virus but is unlikely to be fit enough to feature.
Massimo Luongo is also a doubt having clashed heads during the club’s 3-2 defeat to Stoke, and subsequently missed the following loss to Cardiff.
Fernando Forestieri (knee), Keiren Westwood (shoulder) and Liam Palmer (ankle) are also unlikely to feature.
Grant McCann will be without both Callum Elder and Stephen Kingsley for the trip to Hillsborough.
Kingsley injured his hamstring when City were defeated by Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, with Elder suffering the same fate when drafted in to replace him during Sunday’s victory over QPR.
McCann predicts Elder will be sidelined for three to six weeks as he recovers.
Brandon Fleming is expected to take up the left-back role in the absence of the duo, with Eric Lichaj also an option.
