Grimsby pick up a point

Grimsby picked up their first point under interim manager Anthony Limbrick as they were held to a 0-0 by high-flying Cheltenham at Blundell Park.
Despite being without a victory since late September, it was a confident enough start from Grimsby, who took aim first up through Luke Waterfall.
He forced Scott Flinders into a fingertip save from a set-piece, before Ryan Broom called long-serving goalkeeper James McKeown in action at the other end.
Matt Green and Elliott Whitehouse had two strikes each as the clock ticked by, with Flinders proving unbeatable as he made two superb saves in the run-up to half-time.
A snap-shot from Ahkeem Rose signalled the start of the second half, while Chris Hussey saw his low strike charged down by Whitehouse at the other end.
Reuben Reid, making his first start of the season, went close with a dipping effort from 30 yards.
Further opportunities fell to Hussey and Grimsby substitute Harry Cardwell – one at either end – but neither side was ultimately able to break the deadlock.
