A stunning footy WAG has become the first-ever female president of a football club in Ukraine.

Irina Morozyuk, the wife of Ukrainian international Mykola Morozyuk, has taken on the top job at her local team - FC Lion - in the city of Lviv.

Morozyuk posed for a picture with the team before releasing a statement to her 38,000 followers on Instagram.

“My lion cubs, I am honoured to be the president of FC Lion,” she wrote. “We have big ambitions.”

Morozyuk later shared a snap of herself holding up the club’s shirt, and took the opportunity to explain her decision to take on the role.

She wrote: “When such an offer came to me, I thought for a long time that I had become a supporter of amateur football in Lviv, since it was born in this city.

“As the club was being formed, I told about the Bombardier channel on YouTube. After my first release, I had a lot of questions for the head coach of the team.

“I need time to sort it out. At the time of Pavel Igorovich was removed from the position of head coach. I believe in our project that the Lviv Football Federation will support us and allow us to continue to develop and participate in official matches.

“I have a decent team!”

A statement from FC Lion read: “We have no right to be the second or third club to have a president like that.

“We will always be fighting to win in any situation.”

The WAG recently showed off her footy skills in a brilliant Instagram video.

In the clip, she can be seen flicking the ball up with her right peg before catching the ball on her chest and leaning back.

Her followers were left stunned, with one saying: “Bravo.”

While another added: “Come to Fenerbahce.”
